What wireless systems do you recommend?
For professional narrative work, we recommend Lectrosonics Digital or Wisycom for their audio quality, reliability, and spectral efficiency. Zaxcom offers recording-capable transmitters. For budget-conscious productions, Sennheiser EW-D provides excellent value.
How many wireless channels can you provide?
We can provide as many channels as your production requires—from single transmitters to dozens of coordinated channels for large cast productions. Our frequency coordination ensures all channels operate without interference.
What lavalier microphones do you stock?
We carry DPA 4060 and 6060 (subminiature), Sanken COS-11D, Sennheiser MKE series, and Countryman lavalieres. Each has different characteristics suited to various concealment and sound requirements.
How do you handle frequency coordination?
We scan your locations to identify clean frequencies and coordinate all wireless systems to avoid interference. This includes both your wireless mics and any other RF equipment like wireless video or IEMs.
What about range and coverage?
Range depends on the system and environment. We configure antenna distribution and RF cables to ensure reliable coverage for your shooting area. For large locations, we can provide multiple receiver setups.
Do you provide backup equipment?
Yes, we recommend and can provide backup transmitters and receivers for longer shoots. Having backup wireless protects your production against equipment failures.
