On Location

Cinema equipment rental throughout France

Pro shoots in France need kit that holds up in the Parisian summer heat, the damp winters of Brittany, and the strong Mediterranean light of the Côte d'Azur. We pick our gear with exactly those conditions in mind. Cinema-Grade Camera Gear, full rigging systems, and Lighting kit packages are ready for short or long-term rental. We deliver them to your location anywhere across the country, or your transport department can collect them from our Paris base on any shooting day.

Our French rental inventory is selected for Provençal sun, Breton rain, and Parisian summer heat alike.

Our Audio Gear range covers location sound packages, wireless systems, and tracking options that handle busy urban spots like Bastille and the quieter feel of rural Provence. Grip kit, from basic spreaders and hi-hats to full condor and technocrane rigs, ships with our Vehicles & Rigs service, so camera trucks and specialty transport arrive with the gear already secured and ready to unload on day one. Data Management options keep your media backed up, verified, and logged correctly at each location across France.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What equipment do you have available?

We source from TSF, Panavision Paris, RVZ, and other major French rental houses. Our current stock includes the ARRI Alexa 35 and Mini LF, RED V-RAPTOR and Komodo, and Sony VENICE 2, plus a full lens range from Zeiss Supreme to Cooke S7 to Angenieux zooms. Lighting runs from ARRI SkyPanel X to M-series HMIs to Astera tubes. For audio, we carry Lectrosonics, Wisycom, and Sound Devices. If it is in pro use, we can get it.

Do you provide technical support during the shoot?

We give phone support on every package, and our technicians stand by on set to build any tricky rig. Camera prep happens the day before, so the AC team is ready for the shoot and we never send untested gear to set. If something fails on the day, Paris rental houses can mostly swap units same-day. Regional shoots are trickier, so we pack backup gear for anything mission-critical.

Can you create custom equipment packages?

Custom packages are the default. DPs spec their camera kit, gaffers pull their lighting orders, and sound mixers set their preferred wireless frequencies. We tie the departments together so it all works as one: we match power draw to pack capacity, confirm lens coverage for the sensor size, and make sure wireless audio and video do not clash. The package fits the show, not the other way around.

What is included with equipment rental?

Every kit ships with batteries charged and tested, media cards formatted, and cables and adapters for whatever you plug into. We add transport cases, plus expendables like gels and diffusion on request. We also carry backup bodies for cameras and backup transmitters for audio, the gear that saves the day when Murphy's Law kicks in. Crew who have not used a piece of gear get setup support and a walkthrough.

How does pricing and insurance work?

French rental houses charge daily rates, with weekly bookings discounted from the fourth or fifth day. We quote in euros, all-in except for damage waivers. The gear needs production insurance, and French houses accept most global policies but must see the certificate before they release the kit. Deposits vary: basic packages need little or none, while high-value lenses and specialty items need larger deposits.
