Here is how this works in practice. France's bande dessinée culture — Angoulême, Tintin, Métal Hurlant, Moebius — produces an unusually deep pool of in order illustrators, and the storyboard artists we represent come out of that custom by way of Gobelins, ENSAD, and the comics workshops centred on Paris, Lyon, and Toulouse. They visualise scenes with a draftsman's discipline and a filmmaker's knowing of lens, blocking, and pacing. Working in pencil, digital tablet, or rough 3D pre-visualization depending on what the director and DP need to see before principal photography begins.

Here is the short of it. On feature, commercial, and animation work, our storyboard artists work with with directors at La Cité du Cinéma, Studios de Bry-sur-Marne, and Paris production offices, then continue through pre-viz hand-off to VFX teams at BUF Compagnie, Mikros Image, and Mac Guff. They produce animatics with timing, scratch dialogue, and motion indication for tricky action sequences, period-Paris crowd scenes shot under permit constraints, and luxury commercial concepts where every frame is approved against a brand bible. ADAGP-cleared rights on the panels are handled cleanly, and revision cycles fit the production's actual prep calendar rather than an idealized one.
