Visual Effects Compositing
Seamless visual effects integration through professional compositing, creating invisible effects that enhance storytelling.
Visual effects compositing layers many image elements into seamless final frames. It blends live-action footage with CGI, matte paintings, particle effects, and other digital pieces. Our artists use color matching, lighting, and perspective alignment to build believable images that serve the story.
We connect you with VFX compositing artists and facilities ready to deliver the visual depth your project needs. Our team runs shot turnover, review sessions, and final delivery, so your composite shots are flawless in tech and look just like captured footage.

On Location
VFX compositing across French post houses
Visual effects compositing in France rests on Paris-region houses such as Mikros, Mac Guff, BUF Compagnie, and the Digital Factory. Each has delivered shots into Cannes premieres, Annecy entries, and global streaming originals. Our compositors work mainly in Foundry's Nuke, with Flame and Fusion ready for the projects that need them. They build shots from RAW originals shot on ARRI Alexa, RED V-Raptor, Sony Venice, and Blackmagic URSA bodies. Green-screen extractions use multi-channel keys with edge-detail recovery for hair, smoke, and motion-blurred elements, while 3D tracks built in 3DEqualizer or PFTrack lock CG into the live-action plate with sub-pixel accuracy.
Color runs from start to finish through an ACES pipeline. The composite handed to the colorist at Eclair or a Saint-Cloud finishing room then arrives in a known color space and grades without surprises. EXR sequences carry full bit depth at 4K and 8K. DPX or ProRes 4444 XQ masters go out for downstream delivery to TV networks, theatrical DCP, and streaming sites. Whether the project is an invisible cleanup pass on a Bordeaux period drama or a hero CG shot in a Côte d'Azur action sequence, the final composite reads as one captured image. That is the standard each shot meets before it leaves the bay.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What compositing software do you use?
We mainly use Nuke for high-end film and television work, plus After Effects for motion graphics-heavy projects. Our team also works well in Fusion and Flame. We pick the best tool for the job and can fit a specific pipeline when needed.
Can you match the look of existing footage?
Yes, color matching and seamless blending sit at the heart of our work. Our team studies the original photography with care, including grain, color, lighting, and lens traits, so every composited element matches the source material perfectly.
How do you handle complex green screen shots?
We use advanced keying methods, including multi-channel keying, edge processing, and spill suppression. For hard shots with motion blur, fine hair detail, or semi-transparent elements, our team pairs automated tools with close manual work to get clean results.
What resolution and format can you work with?
We work with every pro format, from HD through 8K and beyond. Our pipeline handles RAW camera formats, high bit-depth files, and HDR workflows. We deliver in whatever format your project needs, from DPX sequences to ProRes masters.
