Here is how this works in practice. Grip work on a French production rarely stays in one register. A single week can move from a Haussmann interior near the Bastille to a wide-angle exterior on the Côte d'Azur to an overhead rig on a Cité du Cinéma soundstage. Each environment punishes the gear differently. We assemble C-stands, combos, apple boxes, sandbags, flag and net sets, and frame textiles from 4x4 through 20x20 drawing on Transpalux, TSF, and Loca-Images inventories, then load them into properly ordered grip carts so the key grip can find every clamp and knuckle without unpacking three cases.

Here is the short of it. Each package is scaled against the actual scope of the shoot — a documentary day in Lyon, a Bordeaux car-commercial, or a feature staging large overhead butterflies in Provence all carry different rigging demands. Speed rail, scaffolding, pipe clamps, and matching griffolyn or silk textiles ship pre-checked alongside the fixtures they pair with, and we can supply skilled French key grips when the production needs local hands on the rig. You will receive a tested, complete grip inventory delivered to set with a backup contact reachable through every shooting day.
