Light-shaping modifiers and diffusion across France
Light shaping is where a French production's look really lives. Think of the gauze in front of a 2.5K HMI through a Haussmann window, the 12x12 silk over a Provence vineyard scene, or the negative fill that gives a Bastille interior its depth. We source softboxes from Chimera plus DoPchoice Snapbags and Snapgrids, and we draw full diffusion frame sets from 4x4 through 20x20 on Transpalux, TSF, and Loca-Images. The truck carries 1/4, 1/2, full, and double diffusion plus grid cloth, muslin, and specialty materials, so your DP can swap textures without waiting on a recall.
Each kit is packed against the rest of the lighting plan. Overheads and butterfly systems ship with their rigging hardware ready, shiny boards and beadboards travel beside the negative fill flags and duvetyn, and color gels sit in ordered cases ready for the gaffer. We also set up large overhead rigs for soft ambient light on Côte d'Azur exteriors or Cité du Cinéma stage work, with skilled French key grips ready alongside the gear. You will receive a full, ordered modifier inventory delivered with the matching fixtures, plus on-call replacements across the shoot.

What softbox brands do you carry?
We stock softboxes from Chimera, DoPchoice, Snapbag, and others, in sizes from small on-camera units to large 8x8 and beyond. DoPchoice Snapbags and Snapgrids are especially popular for their fast setup.
What sizes of diffusion frames do you have?
We carry frames from 4x4 feet through 20x20 feet in many setups. Standard sizes include 4x4, 6x6, 8x8, 12x12, and 20x20, and we stock many diffusion types for each size.
What diffusion materials are available?
We give a full range, with 1/4, 1/2, full, and double diffusion, plus grid cloths, muslin, and specialty materials. Each one gives a different softness and lets through a different amount of light.
Do you provide reflectors and bounce?
Yes, we have shiny boards (mirrors), beadboards, foam core, Griffolyn, and specialty reflective materials. Bounce is key for adding fill and steering light, above all on location.
What about flags and negative fill?
We carry full flag sets with solids, cutters, and nets in all standard sizes. Black materials like duvetyn are ready for negative fill, which is key for building contrast.
Can you provide large overhead setups?
Yes, we supply full butterfly and overhead systems with frames, textiles, and all the rigging you need. Large overheads are key for soft ambient light on exteriors and big interior spaces.
